Services

What is a Process Server?

A Process Server is a person who serves legal documents such as family law documents, subpoenas, summons, writs or warrants, especially those requiring an appearance in court. They are professionals who can serve your documents correctly, and prepare and swear the affidavits for your pending court case.

Occasionally, the party to be served avoids service making the process lengthy and costly. A Process Server knows alternative methods of service and can advise you on how the service may be best performed. A Process Server can write up an Affidavit of Attempted Service which outlines attempts made to effect service that you can take to court. The Judge will decide based on the Process Server’s experience and expertise what the best course of action may be to successfully effect the service.
